“ First and for most. This is hands down the best barber shop I've been to since I've moved to VA. The atmosphere is unique and the vibe you get is laid back. All the barbers are very respectable, out going, and just a blast to be around. The owner is very passionate about his job and about the overall experience his customers get while getting their haircut. My barber Paul is a very talented young man to say the least. I never leave disappointed and the conversations are always a joy. Bottom line if your looking for a place to get your haircut this is the place to go. And I mean that, considering i never leave reviews but this shop definitely deserves one! ”
“ Was visiting in the area and my son Nolan needed a haircut. This place got great reviews and I felt like it was a well mannered place to bring a young man based on the reviews. Patrick greeted us at the door and gave my son a nice fade cut. Patrick asked questions along the way about the desired cut. Very clean, relaxing place, light jazz music played in the back ground. What I liked most was the caring relationship among the barbers. You got the feeling of brotherhood. Which was nice for my son to see. My son and I spoke about the experience and he said he noticed the "no profanity" sign which sends a positive influential message to the young men that visit. I told Patrick we be back in a few weeks and would definitely stop in. He gave me his number and suggested I call before so the chair would be ready with minimum to no wait. THAT'S OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! ”
“ I was visiting Virginia Beach on my way to DC to attend a confirmation hearing, so my hair needed to be tight. I searched for barbers with good reviews near me and settled on Better Barbers. I had wanted the woman barber because some male barbers can have you looking like a man, but she was busy so I went with the gentleman who greeted me upon entering the shop. He asked me several questions to help me explain what I wanted and he went to work. He continued to ask questions to make sure he was creating the look I wanted and he nailed it! I can appear on camera tomorrow supporting my sister with my hair on point. On top of that, my cut was reasonably priced. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. Travis was my barber par excellence. ”

“ I was looking for a place for my 10 yr old son. Haircuttery jacked his hair up twice and I couldn't do it again. This place was down the street so we walked in and tried it. DJ was our barber and he was very thorough, making sure we got exactly what he wanted. He definitely made my boy look so handsome. He was able to do exactly what we wanted. The other barbers there were friendly and welcoming. As soon as we walked in the door my 7 yr old said he wanted a haircut like that. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend. And the cost was ridiculously cheap. Haircuttery charged me double the cost of DJ for a mess. I tipped 100 percent and I should've tipped me. I got DJ on the next round. ”
